Coaching entrepreneurs to gain the confidence to charge based on the value they provide their clients and feel worthy of success has become my life's purpose because it took me 30 years to figure out
I was good enough.
I have been an entrepreneur most of my 30+ year career, and always in a service or consulting role. I struggled with the question so many entrepreneurs have, how much should I charge?
I didn't know how to value the service I provided because I was afraid if I charged too much I would lose clients, or even worse . . never get any. And even worse, even though my clients loved the results I provided, I never felt worthy of playing on a higher level.
It all came to a head when I turned 60 and my life exploded . I found myself divorced, after 37 years of marriage to an alcoholic. In the settlement I got the house, the dog, and the bills, but I didn't have any way of generating enough money to make the house payment. I didn't know what to do, and desperation set in pretty quickly.
Before I returned to coaching I had been a marketing consultant - so that's what I tried first. I advertised on Facebook., learned social media, made videos, even tried some new sales techniques. All good strategies . . . but nothing made a difference and I was out of ideas.
Before I returned to coaching I had been a marketing consultant - so that's what I tried first. I advertised on Facebook., learned social media, made videos, did email campaigns, even tried some new sales techniques. All good strategies . . . but nothing made a difference and I was out of ideas.
So I went searching for what was causing me to be stuck.
That when I really gained an understanding of how to strategically set my pricing AND how to shift my mindset. I learned the three strategic areas to look at when pricing a service, and discovered that 80% of your success depends on what you think and believe about
money and worthiness.
I was excited to have some tangible aspects to base my pricing on. That was a huge help. But the mindset work I did made the biggest difference. Because my family culture was work hard for little pay. Being rich & successful was never something we talked about, it was never for our family. This is the culture I learned as a kid and brought with me into adulthood, This is the type of programming that doesn't change just because you want it too. These old programs keep running and running and running until you take specific
action to do something different.
Once I figured out the problem was me, I started learning how to let go of all that old mental programming, developed a success mindset, and embraced a new value based pricing structure.
I began to feel valuable and was able to approach my business from a new value perspective. That's when my life began shifting.
As my business began to grow I noticed a common thread among other entrepreneurs. Feeling frustrated, lacking confidence and feeling unworthy of success are at epidemic levels. It doesn't matter how smart you are, what service your provide, or where you're located. So many entrepreneurs are cheating themselves out of a livable wage. They may be generating an income, but so many of us aren't charging enough to grow a business. It's heartbreaking how
hard we work for so little.
So using the techniques I used for myself and tested with other entrepreneurs, I developed coaching programs that I know create true long-term transformation. We look at the strategic aspect of how you price your services PLUS how to be more open and believing in success. I know that if I can change 30 years of negative habits and beliefs for myself, I can help you live a beautiful, rich, successful life too. That very first ripple you create makes a powerful impact for you and the ones you love. Call me and let's see if we can find a program that's a good fit for you.
